Frequently Asked Questions – Summer Camp in Barcelona
Where does the LeartWorld summer camp take place?
What age group is the summer camp designed for?
What types of activities are offered during the summer camp?
The summer camp takes place in the Sant Gervasi neighborhood (Barcelona), across two very close locations: the LeartWorld creative space and the Joana Pons Music School.
The distance between both venues is approximately 300 meters (about a 5-minute walk). There are no main roads between them, which makes the transfer simple and safe within the same area.
Music activities are held at the Joana Pons Music School. Parents should drop their children off at this location at the beginning of the day and pick them up at LeartWorld at the end of the day. During the transfers, the children are always accompanied by the responsible team, maintaining an approximate ratio of 5 children per adult to ensure supervision and safety at all times.
What do the cooking activities involve? Are they safe?
The creative cooking activities are adapted to the children’s age and focus on simple and safe proposals. Priority is given to no-bake recipes prepared by the children themselves, focusing on mixing, kneading, and shaping dough, as well as decorating cupcakes, cookies, or previously prepared items.
For safety reasons, children do not handle knives or dangerous utensils, and the use of the oven is exclusively managed by the responsible adult team.
All activities are designed as fun and educational culinary projects, always under direct supervision of the team.
The summer camp is designed for children aged 4 to 10. The activities are adapted to different ages and skill levels, allowing each child to participate comfortably and safely.
Both younger and older children will find activities suited to their stage of development, within a creative theme that allows them to enjoy, learn, and express themselves at their own pace.
What will the children do in the magic workshops?
In the magic workshops, children learn simple tricks adapted to their age, developing skills such as coordination, attention, memory, and self-confidence.
It is a dynamic and fun activity that allows them to express themselves, surprise others, and gain confidence when presenting their own tricks.
At the end of the workshop, children take home new knowledge and resources that they can share with their families, enjoying creative moments beyond the summer camp as well.
Which materials are provided?
All the necessary materials for the activities are included: paints, brushes, clay, art paper, craft materials, aprons, and other creative resources used during the summer camp.
Families do not need to bring any additional materials, as the space is fully prepared so that children can enjoy the experience comfortably and safely.
The summer camp combines different creative activities to offer a varied, dynamic, and enriching experience.
Children take part in art projects such as canvas painting, clay sculpture, experimental art, collage, artistic portraits, and crafts. In addition, the program includes magic workshops, singing, creative games, and age-appropriate cooking activities.
Each day is organized with a different structure, which keeps motivation, curiosity, and enthusiasm throughout the week, offering a balanced experience between creativity, learning, and fun.
Will my child be able to participate in activities like balloon art?
Yes. The activities are designed so that all children can participate, regardless of their level or previous experience. In the case of balloon twisting and other hands-on activities, the team guides them step by step so that each child can enjoy the process and achieve their own result.
We work with very simple shapes, such as swords, flowers, or dogs, always with the support of the team and adapted to the age of the group. In addition, for children who are sensitive to noise, we provide hearing protection if necessary, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience.
At the end of the activity, each child can take home their own balloon creations!
Is previous experience in art necessary?
No, it’s not necessary. The camp is designed both for children who already enjoy art and for those who want to discover it for the first time. The most important thing is to experiment, create, and have fun without pressure.
What will the children take home?
Every child will leave with their own artistic creations—including paintings, sculptures, and other creative projects—plus a folder containing all the drawings and sketches they made during the week.
Why choose an art summer camp instead of a sports camp?
Creative camps foster imagination, focus, and self-expression, while also helping children build skills they can keep practicing at home, like drawing or crafting.
What is included in the snack? Do they need to bring a lunchbox?
What sets this summer camp in Barcelona apart from others?
Our summer camp in Barcelona stands out for offering a complete creative experience, designed to stimulate each child’s imagination and personal development.
Unlike more traditional art camps, at LeartWorld we don’t limit ourselves to a single discipline. Children explore different forms of artistic expression such as painting, sculpture, collage, and various creative projects, allowing each child to discover their own style.
We also incorporate activities that are unusual in typical camps, such as magic workshops, creative cooking, balloon art, and daily singing classes, providing a dynamic and surprising experience that keeps motivation high throughout the week.
We work with small groups, which allows us to offer close, personalized attention and adapt to each child’s pace and needs.
The camp also has an international and multilingual approach, with activities conducted in Spanish, English, or French, creating an inclusive and enriching environment for children from different backgrounds.
The result is a varied, creative, and stimulating experience—very different from a conventional summer camp—where children not only participate, but truly express themselves, discover new skills, and enjoy learning.
Do the children only do art all the time?
No. Although art is one of the main pillars of the camp, the program is designed as a complete and varied experience. Throughout the day, creative activities are combined with group dynamics, games, singing, cooking, magic, and rest periods.
Our goal is to provide a balanced program that stimulates creativity, personal expression, and social interaction, all within a dynamic, fun, and well-organized environment.
Does the camp run in Spanish, English, and French? Is it bilingual or multilingual?
Healthy eating is encouraged throughout the camp. Snacks are typically light and balanced, like fruit, yogurt, vegetables, cookies, or mini sandwiches.
We still recommend that each child brings their own lunchbox with foods they know and like, to make sure they feel comfortable and their individual needs are met.
Will my 4-year-old fit in well in a camp with older kids?
Yes. In many creative camps, it is common to have children of different ages, and this can be a very positive experience when activities are well organized. At LeartWorld, artistic activities are adapted to different ages and skill levels. Younger children receive extra support so they can comfortably participate in each project.
We work with small groups, which allows teachers to give individual attention to each child and assist them according to their needs. In creative activities like painting, drawing, or sculpture, each child works at their own pace. This ensures that younger children can participate without feeling pressured, while older children can develop more complex projects if they wish.
Something very special often happens as well: older children frequently help the younger ones, creating an atmosphere of cooperation and camaraderie.
The camp offers an international and flexible environment. Activities can be conducted in different languages, such as Spanish, English, or French, adapting to each child’s profile so they feel comfortable and confident throughout the experience.
Our goal is to create an inclusive environment where language is not a barrier, allowing every child to participate fully, express themselves with confidence, and enjoy learning.
How can I register for the summer camp?
Registration can be done easily through the website using the form or by contacting LeartWorld directly. It is recommended to register in advance to ensure availability.
Are there limited spots?
Yes. Since we work with small groups, spots are limited. We recommend registering in advance, especially during the summer.
Can it be booked by week?
Yes, we offer flexibility. Families can book single weeks or multiple weeks, depending on their needs.
Is the booking refundable?
Yes, bookings can be refunded up to 25 days before the camp starts. Cancellations within this period will receive a refund minus €20, which covers the non-refundable service fee.

Are the groups big?
No. Our small group format allows us to give each child personalized attention, meet their individual needs, and foster a warm, trusting environment.
Does the summer camp help limit time in front of screens?
Yes. Many families are looking for real alternatives to excessive screen time, and this camp offers exactly that.
Through art, creative projects, and hands-on activities, children discover that they can have fun without relying on devices. They move from consuming content to creating their own.
It is common that, after the camp, children want to continue drawing, crafting, or inventing at home, gradually replacing screen time with creative activities.
